As more and more GSHP systems are installed, there have been increasing inquiries about how to use GLD and other tools to analyze the system performance, and in some cases, redesign a system that is not performing as expected. In the most recent version of GLD, tools are provided to help simulate load management “on the fly,” which allows an engineer to more accurately simulate and anticipate things that can be done to get a system back on track. There is a growing niche market for designers that can “rescue” an underperforming system or correct a design which was not specified correctly in the beginning.
This webinar will be conducted by Terry Proffer, who has designed,
consulted or installed thousands of tons of heat pump capacity throughout
the continental U.S, Canada and Asia, and has trained over 500 contractors
and engineers through IGSHPA and field training classes.
