NEW Online Training
By popular demand, specialized, in-depth training is now available for designers utilizing the industry-leading GLD software platform. These professional level courses are intended for serious designers that want to leverage their knowledge and tools for a more successful geothermal design experience.Commercial GSHP System Design
- Optimizing GSHP Systems
Thermal Dynamics, in conjunction with the Geothermal Training Institute, is currently offering a professional course utilizing GLD2012 for the professional designer. Commercial geothermal systems are often dismissed because of the high cost of installation. This course is focused on commercial system design optimization of the ground heat exchanger (GHX) and the commercial heat pump and how a GSHP system may pay back much sooner than expected. This 10 week course in geothermal system design utilizes the combined experience of 40 years from instructors with real-world experience. It will provide you with information and methods to optimize and enhance the design of your closed loop GSHP system. The instructors of this class have worked with equipment manufacturers and suppliers, system designers and building owners to develop cost-effective methods of providing geothermal systems for their clients. In a time where the market is forced to deal with rising energy costs and scarcer supplies, the opportunities for successful GSHP Systems will continue to dramatically increase.
Each session runs approximately 1.5 to 2 hours
